Located on the outskirts of historical Jim Thorpe, this campsite is perfect for that family getaway. While lodging at this park, you can enjoy the art of Mother Nature on the 2.8 mile man-made Mauch Chunk Lake, walk or ride the renovated Switchback Gravity Railroad and many other trails throughout the park.  Why not rent a boat, go fishing, or take a walk through the woods to the Environmental Education Center to see the birds of prey and then unwind on the park’s sandy beach?  This is the ideal hideaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The park is located about 15 minutes from Pocono Whitewater and 25 minutes from Skirmish Paintball.
