Description

Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist needed at outdoor recreation company.  Responsibilities include overseeing, documenting, and accurately recording transactions.  Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Process payroll
  • Monthly and yearly reconciling by company
  • Daily money counting, verification and depositing
  • Organize cash for each POS location
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Manage cash expenses
  • Ensure payment of all taxes- quarterly, yearly, local, sales, amusement, etc
  • Submit and track any workman’s comp claims as needed
  • Manage relationship with healthcare provider
  • Minimize costs by alerting management of any large price jumps
  • Organize mail and distribute accordingly
Qualifications

Applicants must be knowledgeable in basic financial and accounting principles.  Additional requirements of the job include:

  • Ability to work with limited direction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and online systems
Base Salary
$13 Per hour
