Bring along the whole family this summer and enjoy a fun-filled family-style whitewater raft trip! Eight miles and 3 to 4 hours long, the plentiful riffles and mild Class I and II water of the Lehigh River are occasionally interspersed with a touch of Class III whitewater. This section of the Lehigh River is simply perfect for everyone – beginners, church groups, school groups, scouts, kids ages 4 and older, and adults that want to relax and enjoy the great Pocono Mountains.
Whether you’re paddling a rapid, enjoying the passing scenery, kicking your feet over the edge of the raft or taking a swim in the river, we guarantee you will have a great time making memories with your friends and family.
One of the most unique things about our summer family style rafting trips is from Memorial Day through Labor Day and weekends in May, September, & October it includes a FREE, ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT, RIVERSIDE BARBEQUE! Our staff will cook and serve you a picnic lunch – hotdogs, potato salad, chips, fruit, etc…The classic family picnic! There’s no eating on river rocks here at Pocono Whitewater! We have our very own riverside meadow – complete with picnic tables, food service, and portable restrooms. Bring your family and friends. It’s so easy and everything you need for a fun day is provided.
We NOW offer Pirate Adventurers on all family-style whitewater rafting trips that are booked on Sunday’s in June AND Sunday through Friday in July and August when your check in time is between 10:30am and noon. Click here for all the #PoconoPirate details.
Rates Include: all necessary rafting equipment, life jacket, free parking, change rooms, shuttle service to/from the river, experienced river guides, and a FREE BBQ lunch served daily in our exclusive riverside picnic area from Memorial Day through Labor Day and weekends in May, September, and October.
