relaxing, yet active, day trip filled
with spectacular scenery, exceptional
food, fine wine, laughter, great
shopping and unforgettable memories.

Escape from
your everyday, fast-paced, lifestyle
and spend some quality time with
active and adventurous individuals with whom new friendships will
develop.
Your day will start with a guided, picturesque downhill bike
ride on the Historic Switchback Rail-Trail.
Along the ride you’ll pass

Mauch Chunk Creek, and glide down
Broadway. No worries, we
have comfort bikes with wide, forgiving

All Aboard for a one-hour train excursion on the Lehigh
Valley Scenic Railway and a Family-Style
Whitewater Rafting adventure on the
Lehigh River!
New for 2008 you can now ride the rails and rapids of the Lehigh River
Gorge.
Your day will begin via train as
you depart the CNJ Train Station in
Historic Jim Thorpe. The train line swings
onto the former Lehigh Valley main line
before passing Glen Onoko, the south
gateway to the Lehigh Gorge State Park.
You’ll follow the winding Lehigh River,
rounding curve after curve until you reach
Old Penn Haven where you’ll begin your
return ride back to the station.
Now it’s time to gear-up for your Family-Style Rafting
Adventure.
You’ll
spend about 3 to 4 hours on the river
where plentiful riffles and mild water of
the Lehigh are occasionally interspersed
with a touch of Class II whitewater. This
is just perfect for enjoying the passing
scenery, kicking your feet over the edge
of the raft, splashing family and friends,
or taking a swim in the river! Plus, from June 7th
thru September 1st, we’ll

Everyone, I was at your facility this past Saturday, it was just perfect.
It was our first experience and we have already decided we want to do
it again, at least one more time before the summer is over.
We found your instructors and various employees, to be quite
informative, helpful and committed to great customer service.
For this I am truly grateful. Thanks for showing us a great time!!!”
